 WEBSITE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT

MAINTENANCE COVERS

  1. Addition/deletion of photos on the gallery page. Images should be supplied in a minimum 1920px wide

  2. Addition/deletion of non SIMA products via csv file supplied by CLIENT

  3. Addition/deletion of client testimonials

  4. Addition/deletion of the new text

  5. Edit/revision of the current text

  6. Editing of on-page SEO, for example, Meta tags – title, description, keywords

  7. Use of our proprietary plugins to improve site performance and features

  8. Updates – core WordPress and WooCommerce

  9. Updates – Theme and Plugins

  10. Database optimisation

  11. Image optimisation

  12. On-page SEO best practice monitoring

  13. Site speed monitoring and optimisation

  14. Find and fix 404 errors

  15. Protection of website against hackers

  16. Regular backups of the website

  17. Monitoring website functionality and installation of upgrades where necessary – should plugins fail as a result of WordPress software updates, plugins may need to be upgraded/replaced to accommodate the newer version

  18. Liaison with the hosting company regarding any server issues

  19. Resetting of account passwords. (hosting & WordPress)

 

MAINTENANCE NOT COVERED

  1. Website redesign for updates to more than 10% of a web page

  2. Working on to 3rd party supplier solutions

  3. Monitoring of Google reviews

 

AGREEMENT

SIMA Digital will provide the client with updates, as outlined above, to the website for the twelve months covered by this maintenance contract. Support will be provided from 1 February 2022 to 31 January 2023 inclusive once payment has been received for THE CLIENT website invoice.

THE CLIENT agrees that SIMA Digital will be the sole provider of maintenance services for the website for the duration of the maintenance contract, and no other party will have access to or rights to change the website. Should a party other than SIMA Digital make changes to the website, work required to correct any resulting errors will be charged at the hourly rate specified below.

 

DEADLINES & DELIVERABLES

SIMA Digital will respond to maintenance requests from the client by the following business day, via your Plutio project dashboard. Any concerns over meeting this deadline will be notified to the Client with the reason for this and the planned resolution.

 

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Any revisions, additions or redesigns the client requests that are not covered in the website maintenance agreement will be considered “additional” and will require separate agreement and payment. Work outside of the scope of this agreement will be charged at R750 per hour.

 

AUTHORISATION

THE CLIENT hereby authorises SIMA Digital to access their web hosting account, providing active username/password combinations. THE CLIENT will then be responsible for the monthly payments to the web host if not hosted by SIMA Digital.

YOUR INVESTMENT

  1. A monthly retainer of R1,497.00

  2. Invoiced monthly on the 20th

  3. The payment due date is no later than the last day of the month

  4. Delays and failure to pay your retainer will put your maintenance work on hold unless otherwise communicated
